Product design and engineering across Sussex

Sussex has a lot of product businesses and not many engineering practices that take a product all the way from a sketch to a factory. That’s the gap we sit in. The work splits roughly into three kinds: new products that need designing properly the first time, existing products that need cost or performance engineering, and manufacturing-support work where something is already in production and misbehaving.

Distance inside the county is never the problem; we’ve run projects with people twenty minutes away and people on other continents. What the county location gets you is the option of doing the physical parts physically: prototypes on the bench, first articles inspected together, a workshop session instead of a video call when the geometry gets contentious.
